Services and prices

All services include a free no obligation visit to you in your home to meet you and your pet(s) in the case of dog walking or a visit to my premises if you require our home dog boarding service. This will enable us to discuss the services you require and to understand the specific needs of your pet(s).

If you decide you would like to go ahead with the services of Paws for Thought Solihull, you will need to fill in a booking form which sets out your pet’s details, requirements and other relevant information to enable me to provide a professional, tailored service for your pet. All services are fully insured.

Dog walking

Paws For Thought Solihull can provide you with a friendly, reliable and professional dog walking service.

Regular exercise will make your dog fitter, happier, calmer and easier to manage. It can also prevent boredom which often leads to dogs chewing or barking when they are left alone.

Group dog walks are suitable for friendly and confident dogs. Walking with other dogs encourages their socialisation skills and can provide them with a lot of fun and companionship.

£12.50 for 1 hour
+ £7.50 for each extra dog from the same address
Individual dog walks are ideal for nervous dogs and for puppies. This will enable them to receive one-to-one attention and to help them to build confidence on the lead and when they are out and about. These walks may also be better for old and infirm dogs. Unfortunately due to capacity constraints, individual dog walks are currently not available.

£20 for 1 hour or £25 for 1 ½ hours

Dog boarding

I am able to offer a five star licensed in-home dog boarding service. Clients will need to provide sufficient food and treats for the duration of their dog’s stay.

Dog boarding will include feeding your dog, providing fresh drinking water and giving them much needed care and company when you are away. It will also include one walk per day.

Prices start from £35 per night per dog
Holding Fees/Deposits of 25% are payable in advance to secure dog boarding services.

Additional services during dog boarding may be provided on request to suit the needs of your dog, such as administering medication.

Home visits – Not currently available

My home visiting services enable your pet to remain in the comfort of their own home rather than going into kennels or catteries. I can provide this service for your dog or cat whilst you are away. This service is particularly useful for owners with young dogs which are not yet old enough to have walks outside.

Home visits can include feeding your pet, providing fresh drinking water, letting them out to the toilet and giving them much needed care when you are away. Visits will be for approximately 20 minutes.

£10 per visit
Longer visits for puppy sitting for example can be arranged at £15 for one hour

Additional services on home visits may be provided if you are away from your home for more than one day. These can include drawing/opening curtains, watering plants, picking up your post and moving it out of sight.

Additional services on home visits may be available free of charge. Longer visits may be arranged to suit your requirements and charges will be adjusted accordingly.

Doggy day care

I am able to offer an in-home doggy day care service, subject to availability. Clients will need to provide any food or treats for the duration of their dog’s stay.

Doggy day care can include feeding your dog, providing fresh drinking water and giving them much needed care and company when you are away or if you are only away for a short period, I can provide play and company for your dog. It may also include one walk for periods over 3 hours.

£20.00 for up to 3.5 hours
£25.00 for 4 hours or more
£30.00 for over 8 hours
+ 50% charge for each extra dog from the same address (maximum of three dogs)

Additional services during day care may be provided on request to suit the needs of your dog, such as administering medication.
